Indians celebrating Independence day in London attacked by Pakistani Goons

In a shocking series of events, Indians who gathered around Indian Embassy in London, celebrating India’s 73rd Independence day were attacked by Pakistani goons who turned up in large numbers.

This is likely against the recent abrogation of Article 370 by the Indian Parliament and subsequent splitting of the state of Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories.

One of the witness present there said on twitter “We literally waited for 2.5 hours for more police force to arrive. The situation was so bad that we were not even able to go out. All the women and kids were frightened to say the least.”

Another witness praised the efforts of Indian High Commission and demanded strict action citing “Thanks to Indian staff @HCI_London and HC, everyone was brought inside the building, they were offered food and water and were safely sent back to their homes. It’s time for @SadiqKhan @metpoliceuk to take appropriate action against these goons. Hope @UKinIndia too take a note.”

However this type of move is clearly condemnable and the perpetrators must be brought to the book as soon possible.

British Media specifically BBC were also targeted for non reporting of this incident.BBC had recently called Kashmir as “Indian Occupied Kashmir”, which led to severe bashing of the news agency on social media.
