Avid Indian travellers who love exploring the world will be happy to hear that they will no longer have to go through the hassles of visa application when travelling to Brazil. This plausible step comes at a time when more and more Indians are willing to travel internationally for vacations. Not only does it take away the worries of visa application, but it also makes the country of Brazil open to more Indians who are looking for a quick vacay.

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro made this announcement on Thursday in an attempt to reduce visa requirements for developed countries. There are several other countries for which visa requirements by Brazil were dropped earlier this year. In a series of new policies, the far-right politician aims to promote tourism as well as business in Brazil, aiming to strengthen the economy and relationships with developed countries.

The changed visa policy will hopefully drive more travellers to the South American nation known for its vast stretches of rainforest, idyllic beaches and party culture. Details about the new system are yet to be disclosed since the announcement was made during the Brazilian president’s official visit to China. More information will soon be available on the requirements for different types of visas and the extent of relaxation in the visa policies.
