    Samsung Galaxy S9 Finally Receives Stable Android 10 Update

    Yes, at last, the wait is over. If you are looking for Android 10 update for Samsung Galaxy S9, you’ll have an update on your phone any time soon. Released on 16th March 2018 with the Android version 8.0, this phone has received its second software update this month. The phone was out in the market with the following features:

    • Size:81” x 2.7” x 0.33”
    • Weight: 163 g
    • OS: Samsung Experience 9.0 with Android 8.0
    • Memory & Storage: 4 GB RAM with 64/128/256 GB space, along with space for micro SD card with memory up to 400 GB
    • Camera: 12 megapixels at the back at 8 megapixels on the front

    In December 2018, it was updated to One UI 1.0, based on Android 9.0.

    Since last year, Samsung started testing its Galaxy S9 model along with several others for updating it to Android 10 based One UI 2.0.

    Android 10 *Beta for Samsung Galaxy S9 Available

    Android 10 Beta version is available for testing for all the Galaxy S9 users. However Galaxy Note 9 users should receive the stable Android 10 update soon. The update is currently limited to German users only. However, you should receive the notification to update anytime soon as the update is rolled out on a global level. The update also carries the December Android security patch. On receiving this new update, users can now enjoy the following features from Android 10:

    • Live caption with or without internet
    • Smart reply using google maps
    • Battery saving dark themes
    • Better volume amplifier
    • Smoother and faster navigation
    • Increased privacy and security
    • Improved DND (Do Not Disturb) with special focus on app control
    • Enabling child-friendly usage by setting time and content restrictions

        The update is currently on the rollout. You should receive a notification soon. You can also manually check if the update is available from the Android settings.

      I received the s9 Android 8 stable update two weeks. Right after the November 2019. A lot quicker then my older s5 ownership days.
