Japan is one of the principal sources of anime web series. One of their successful anime series is Log Horizon.
Just like the others, it is also adapted from the Japanese novel series of the same name. The writer of these novels is Mamare Touno, and they are illustrated by Kazuhiro Hara.
Both seasons 1 and 2 were remarkable and were appreciated by the audience. Though season 2 ended in 2015, there was no news of Log Horizon season 3 after that.
But recently, some rumors are abuzz that the third season of the show will air in October 2020, while nothing has been officially confirmed.
The upcoming season of the anime show has been named Log Horizon: Destruction of the Round Table. It is expected to have 12 episodes in it, unlike 25, as in the last two seasons.
Moreover, the season will be animated by Studio DEEN Animation Company which also animated Season 2.
What will the cast of Log Horizon Season 3?
The same cast of season 2 is expected to return for the upcoming sequel. Cast members of the last season like Mike Yager (Shiroe), Joji Nakata (Nyanta), and Emiri Kato (Akatsuki), along with other important cast members will reprise their roles.
What is Log Horizon all about?
The season revolves around a grad student Shiroe. He gets trapped in the game world with other 30,000 players while trying to install the expansion pack of an RPG game, Elder Tales.
As he is not good at interacting with others, he tries to survive in the new world by forming a union with other players named Log Horizon.
Season 3 of the web series will begin from where season 2 ended. Till then, let’s catch up with seasons 1 & 2, and wait for October, when the show is possibly expected to come out.
