A new year has begun, and it is going to witness yet another spell of evolution for smartphones. Foldable smartphones are beckoning to return with Samsung currently holding the racing flag in the segment. Now rumors have it that Samsung is coming up with yet another foldable smartphone that was earlier supposed to be called the Galaxy Bloom, but it could now be called the Galaxy Z Flip.

It will have a bendable and sizeable 6.7-inch screen with a plastic film protecting the surface of the ultra-thin glass display. Even if you get scratches on display you can easily replace the plastic film. The screen should also incorporate a punch-hole style selfie camera specifications of which are still unknown. The rear camera is highly likely to be a dual-lens setup.
It is most likely to come up with Snapdragon 855 SoC and features such as fast charging. The phone is touted to have a battery capacity of 3300 mAh. The new Galaxy Z Flip will be unveiled at the Samsung Unpacked event in February, along with the much-awaited Galaxy S20 series. The pricing could be kept below the $1000 mark to keep the phone affordable.
