When is Fantastic Beasts 3 Releasing?

J.K. Rowling’s prequel to the Harry Porter series began in November 2016 with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. In November 2018, part 2 came out, named as Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

Now, you must be thinking that by November 2020, the third part of Fantastic Beasts will release too, right?

Wrong!

This might sound a little disappointing to you, but Fantastic Beasts 3 is releasing a year later than the prediction – November 2021.

You must be having plenty of questions in your mind. Let’s answer them one by one.

Why This Delay?

The team says it needs more time to make this film. In fact, the filming is also to begin in Spring 2020. While initially, they had all plans of releasing on 20^th November 2020, Warner Bros is now releasing Dune on that day.

We all know that The Crimes of Grindelwald was not as good as the first movie. A lot of people were disappointed with the film and the box office received more criticism than the appraisal.

However, Warner Bros need this film to work well and has given extended time to its artists to come up with their best. Moreover, this movie is a lot bigger than the other two.

What Will Be the Full Name of This Movie and What is the Basic Plot?

Officially, the full name is not confirmed or out yet. However, there are rumours that say it will be named Fantastic Beasts: The Pure Blood Revolution. Here are 3 things to specify the plot:

• Place: While the first two movies were based in New York and Paris respectively, this one is likely to be based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The official announcement is yet to be made.
• Time: While the first film was set in 1926 and the second was set in 1927, the third will move on to the 1930s.
• Storyline: Part 2 ended with Grindelwald gaining followers to his cause. That is likely to continue in the third part, where they might try to break the blood pact between Dumbledore and Grindelwald. Moreover, we are to expect some more beasts in this film too.

Who All Belong to The Main Star Cast for This Film?

Among the main characters, we have:

• Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander: The story has initially revolved around Newt. In this film, we’ll see him against Grindelwald.
• Johnny Depp as Gellert Grindelwald: His character gained importance in the second film and here too, he continues to play an important role against Newt.
• Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore: Now he may not have had much of a role to play in the second film where he made his entry, but he has an important role to play here. He probably knows if his blood pact with Grindelwald can be broken.
• Claudia Kim as Nagini: She is one of the beasts in the film. She had become one due to a blood curse. Will she remain a snake till the end, or will the curse be uplifted by 1945?
• Zoe Kravitz as Leta Lestrange: Puzzled? Well, there might be a possibility that Leta could be alive. If she did die, you’d see her in flashbacks. What we do know is that she’s going to be there.
