The article has updates at the end. Pirates of the Caribbean is a movie series involving combination of five imaginary adventures so far. Jerry Bruckheimer is the producer of the series. With five successful movies amassing over four and a half billion dollars over the years, Pirates of the Caribbean 6 is high on everybody’s wishlist.

The main characters of the series include Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp), Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley). The exact box office collection of the franchise was $4.524 billion in the past 14 years.

Pirates of the Caribbean 6 is a continuation of the fifth film titled “Dead Men Tell No Tales”.

The film was expected to get released this year. According to the sources, Disney is said to be in early stage of making the 6th part of Pirates of the Caribbean. New writers Jeff Nathanson and Terry Rossio are working on the script of the film. Release timeframe should now be somewhere around fall 2021.

Fans are also curious to know the star cast cast of the sixth film. However, there is a possibility of not seeing Depp in the film as confirmed by the newly appointed writers of the series. There have been rumours surrounding Johnny Depp demanding steep payout which led to rift between the parties.

The story is expected to revolve around the nightmare seen by Will in which he sees the return of Davy Jones. This nightmare turns out to be real as Davy Jones is back, and he is hell bent on taking revenge. There will also be entrails of new characters in the series. A female pirate is expected to replace our very own Johnny Depp.

While there is no confirmation as far as the release date is concerned, we believe that it is likely to be pushed beyond 2021. This is obviously due to the current global crisis.

Meanwhile, the presence of Johnny Depp in the movie remains suspenseful. While a majority of the news outlets, including us, believe that he has been dropped, there is no official word as of yet. Another interesting aspect is that Depp has garnered a lot of support from fans. Fresh evidence supporting his innocence in the case against his ex-wife Amber Heard has surfaced online. Who knows, Depp might still be able to make it to Pirates of the Caribbean 6.
